    terrestrial, warm and wet

    Warm, wet; most of three major continents jungle and swamp. Two alien species live with the human settlers: the Speghti (native, evolved with the planet) and the Cay-Opu (the result of genetic experimentation by the original human colonists). Flora and fauna are aggressive. Canopy trees hold elevated metal in their cells and communicate by small electrical signals across leaf gaps, blocking communication and scans through the canopy, even with advanced sensors.

Planetary Regions and Known Information

Region B: Tra Sakinig

Tra Sakinig is a warm and wet planet with a majority of the three major continents covered in jungle and swamp.

There are two alien species on the planet along with the human settlers. One alien species, the Speghti, are native to the planet and evolved alongside it. While the other, the Cay-Opu, were the result of genetic experimentation by the original human colonists a program which also created larger versions of fauna from both Earth and native stock.

The flora and fauna on the planet are aggressive and are known to readily attack humans and the other sentient species on the planet. The trees that make up the eternal canopy of the jungle have higher amounts of metal in their cells and in research done by the human settlers it has been observed that the trees can communicate through small electrical signals sent over small gaps in the leaves. Unfortunately these electrical signals also cause a sort of destructive interference with other electromagnetic waves preventing communication through the canopy and any scans of the surface even with advanced sensor arrays.
