The dragons were among the first Tra Sakinig kaiju out of the ground under the ziggurat: bus-sized, diesel-breathing beasts that chased the Cay-Opu Delve party's dump truck through the caverns, one of them killed in the truck bed. One that came down on FOB Yulong destroyed its comms power unit. They hunt in flocks; the Sideways team's gunners shot down wave after wave of fire-gutted bio-dragons on the way down, and Laita's precognition let the Tra Sakinig cache team's pilot fly round a whole flock of them rather than be brought down.
