Cybernetic gorillas, called Roborillas or cyberillas by the people who met them, were among the Franklin Bio-industrial experiments that woke when the gorilla control unit was shut down. They are cousins of a sort to the Cay-Opu, built from the same gorilla stock but far more machine than animal, and they count among the Tra Sakinig kaiju.

The SPU team on Operation Sideways found them in the collapsed cavern on Tra Sakinig where the Havok was hidden, among blood-covered pickaxes, an overturned Franklin 1200 cab and the scattered pieces of Cay-Opu and other engineered beasts. Several were communicating with one another, some walking a perimeter, and two were dragging trees into a makeshift bunker. A modified Thunder Gun was the probable cause of the cavern's collapse. The team dropped a tower on them.

The largest was easily head and shoulders above the rest, stencilled B-U-B-B-L-E-S down its left side, with only small traces of a biological body left and those heavily armoured. It carried a vortex cannon on a shoulder turret, threw the team's light tank two kilometres, and when it went down a nuclear dead-man's switch went off rather than let it be taken. Its last look seemed sad. The radiation that followed put the team through decontamination, and Ulfvar into intensive care.
