An apex octopus-like creature of Tra Sakinig's seas. The Ichinoi communicate through interpretive dance, electric signals and light, and their EM signalling can even carry a little way through water.

The Speghti grow their computers mostly from Ichinoi parts. The result is not sentient, and is equivalent to a TL3 desktop computer but the size of a wall, with skin-like protrusions for an interface and a chameleonic surface forming a crude pictographic screen; programming it is more teaching than writing code. An Ichinoi-derived computing core provides the internal movement and control of the Starship-class mechs (Starship (Trulianui mech)), letting each arm attack once per round, and the Speghti modelled their tactics for the mech on the Ichinoi themselves.
