The Eisenzahn is Silas Quigly's Free Merchant, with Adinda Tyjani as his executive officer. It was the Free Rain until Silas and Akira Aurius bought it from the Fleet in fortnight 16 of 3200, half each, and refitted it. The plans dropped the fuel scoop for a lighter drive-3 upgrade, a ship's locker and vehicle transport fittings, a drill velocity upgrade and a processing node. ‹eisenzahn#1009611246733103125›
The lost 5th Fleet
On its first voyage the Eisenzahn left Kos on 1/20/3200 for Mele and then made a blind DC14 drill onwards. Two systems later it found twin battleships in orbit, joined by a latticework, the Achilles in the better condition and the Aeneas badly damaged, with a shanty town in the only green valley below, kept warm by a thermal spring. The battleships had drilled out of the last battle over Atlas on a trajectory tight-beamed by Naval Command, and the Eisenzahn brought the 5th Fleet back to the 12th, where Commander Longbow's crew went through decontamination. ‹eisenzahn#1020789690586116126› ‹eisenzahn#1023387232666664980›
Tacrov
Its second voyage followed The Book of Stars, an old holographic book bought on Kos, to Tacrov and its fourth world Cairov, said to hold millions of people under a pale-green moon. The crew charted the system and found many of its moons orbiting off the plane, but made no contact, which is never a good sign. They explored an old refinery falling into the gas giant and recovered a few books before returning to Calypso on 10/26/3200. ‹eisenzahn#1027716708321988628› ‹eisenzahn#1035327728611754105›
The Eisenzahn was one of the private ships to escape through the gate at the Battle of Calypso. ‹calypso_ship_combat_action_log#1077729549925761034›
