The Dark Grail is the Reshannan heavy frigate Hydra, captured by the Havok's marines in the Ragnhil Skirmish. Much larger than the Havok, it became the home of the Shock Personnel Unit under Captain Mordred. Ulfvar Swordtooth turned down the post of executive officer to become War Chief, training the marines, and the boarders that took it included Cay-Opu marines. New recruits to the SPU are welcomed aboard with a recorded message asking them to prove themselves in combat. ‹dark_grail#1024331252460945410›

In service

A gift dropship once landed aboard carrying two dozen werewolf mercenaries of the Werewolves of London, nine-foot canine humanoids led by Buck, who offered half a million credits in gemstones for help retaking a stim-producing station from fanatical militia. Mirek 'Hex' Blake transferred to the SPU with the stealth drone Ink, and it was aboard the Grail that NAVINT debriefed Halial Quin and Simul Machinis on the Veremouth affair and assessed their Sulura. ‹dark_grail#1023704038858031165› ‹dark_grail#1039708972657168495›

The Battle of Calypso

At the Battle of Calypso the Grail engaged the Vehendrix ships Iodine and Clementia, the Iodine firing singularity weapons, and for a time it was the only player ship left in the fight. It was destroyed in the end. ‹dark_grail#1075197931684110357›
