The werewolves of Ininedo are hairy humanoids with large canine features, about nine feet tall, so that two dozen of them weigh about the same as two fuel blocks, as one of them liked to point out. Ininedo is the system past Kameeja, and the fleet's first notes on it were short: Amatifa, with its fuel station and its drug-crazed werewolves; Garbarr Zuzane, a colony of the crazy werewolves with more of them there and two space stations; and Methoe, where the people are not werewolves at all but humans, in a second civilisation that lives in permanent night. The crazy werewolf place was talked about for a long time as somewhere the fleet could end up stuck, without a rutter to get back, and there was a fair bit of werewolf racism aboard the Hercules on that account.
Not all of them stay home. Buck, commander of the Werewolves of London, works out of Kos: nine feet of him, with a southern drawl, a cigar and a humanoid paw to shake. He brought two dozen of his company down in a dropship with a "gift" for the Dark Grail, was told a big metal fella was in charge, and found Ulfvar was big, but not metal. His werewolves later fought beside the SPU's Cay-Opu marines in the boarding at Access Denied.
