Iris Array (TL5)

Also known as Iris Project, Iris Fitting

Cross-system messaging device from the Iris Project files taken at the Yin and Yang station in Mele: it fires a can-sized capsule carrying up to 300 characters that lasts 48 hours at its destination. First a TL4 fitting with pretech components, it was redefined in late 3200 as a TL5 pretech artefact needing special salvage.
