The skag is an ambush predator of the marshes of Papolli, the third planet of Swati Palolas: six-legged, with four hind legs and two clawed fore-paws, an alligator-like maw and iridescent, sticky skin. One went for the Archon's survey team on the road in Into the Past and was killed by Rodger, who kept the carcass as a trophy. Its name is spelt with the planet's old variant, Palolli, but it is the same world.
