The muddy mounds of Tra Sakinig's swamps are said to follow you as you walk, though nobody has ever seen one move. The When the Trees patrol marching to the coast had the uneasy sense of it. Underneath the mud is a mass of tentacles around a round core holding most of the organs, about two metres tall and a little wider at the base. Its skin secretes a mix of dirt, water and a weak adhesive, which it shapes into the muddy covering it hides under, so it stays in the swamps, though once its cover is blown it will come out after you. The largest tentacles carry redundant organs that keep them alive for a few seconds after they are cut off.
