The people of Lundvollr are human, from a tribal agri-world in the Titan sector that some knew as an agri-death world. The Vehendrix invaded it a few generations back and Atlas intervened to save it, and the planet repaid the debt in fish, meat and volunteers for the Atlesian auxiliary forces. Some families were there from the very start of the war; Ulfvar Swordtooth was the third generation of his to fight it.

Their society is tribal, under chieftains, with an elite warrior caste called Huscarls and young warriors called drengr. Their faith is Norse in flavour: the Allfather watches warriors who stand tall under alien suns, Thor might want you to train, a hammer charm is worn for protection, and the dead are spoken to at a small altar over two mugs of whiskey. Their own language is Lundvollr, and not every one of them reads Atlesian.

Ulfvar Swordtooth, a Huscarl who fought under his chieftain Ragnar White-Raven in the Solstice Offensive of '87, came out with the fleet and became War Chief of the SPU. He may well be the richest Lundvollr in the fleet.
